It’s been 10 months since we moved into our little cottage, so needless to say, this post has been a long time coming. I’ve shared a few rooms individually, but this is my first attempt at a full home tour (as promised to many of you).
So don’t be shy, come on in 🙂I’m pretty proud of how comfortable we’ve made this house considering we had to source and purchase all new furniture (on a tight budget), and wait 8 months for our shipment from the US to arrive. I thought it would be fun to include the photos from the day we moved in to show how different it feels. There’s still a number of things I would like to do – mainly paint, but since we aren’t sure how long we’ll live here, I don’t want to open that can of worms. I love our location, and I’m so happy to finally be settled that I really hope we can stay another year. We’ll see what happens in August.

Our bedroom looks exactly the same as it did in the One Room Challenge reveal, but I’ve switched back to the grey blanket because I got tired of constantly cleaning cat hair off of it… I’m not proud, but that’s the truth.

Office

This is Andrew’s domain, so I try not to pester him about keeping it neat (which is why I only took a photo of this corner). The important thing is we can fit a queen-size air mattress in here for guests.
Bathroom

That’s it! Not designer-perfect, but I’m happy with it. 🙂
This is gorgeous!
Thank you, glad you like! 🙂
Looks lovely 🙂
Awesome. Can’t wait to see it in person.
Me either!
Congrats – your home looks amazing! And your kitty is totally relaxed.
That 70s inspired arm chair is amazing – I was just admiring exactly the same model in the Lumiere London last weekend :))
Thank you Lubka! Glad you stopped by 🙂
Everything is so cute!
Hello stranger! Thanks for the compliment. 🙂 I’ve been hoping my attempt at cyber hospitality (is that a thing?) isn’t too weird!
Definitely not too weird. You pull of minimalist so well, and the fact that you are so good/brave at DIY makes it that much better.
